sharing a collection...
A while back, inspired by an article on glass beads & colored glass things I began making jewelery & shiny things, primarily from glass beads. I really enjoyed this, they sold well at craft fairs & similar, then later on eBay. It was the beginnings of a little cottage industry (but without a cottage). So anyways, time space and circumstance have prevented me from doing so much of this in the last 5 years or so, but I am consistently drawn, magpie-style to all sheeny shiny glisteny things.
This collection is a mix of man-made and naturally occurring shininess, and these are my faves of my faves...

Peacock Blues
Colour by colour, I sift and arrange. 'Do what you feel drawn to'.I do colour. Colour magnetises me.
If I could only choose one, it would be somewhere in the field of turquoise aqua blue, the peacock hues. With a little smidge of coppery orange or bronzey browns for contrast.
(So - if I could choose only one - I couldn't do that)
